We love staying here and we may be a bit biased so here’s where we let some of our guests tell you, in their own words, what they think about holidays at Chandler’s Cottage:

{Home from home, very comfortable

{Excellent accommodation as usual. All the equipment that you want for cooking etc. A lovely garden to sit out in. The off street parking is a bonus as parking in Sidmouth is tricky. Jo's communication is excellent when asking questions.

{Favourite memories - how cosy and well-appointed the cottage was - ideal for relaxing

{The cottage is clean and tidy, with lots of goodies provided by the owners. It has a lovely garden and is close to the Byes. A nice walk into town. A bonus is the off-street parking in Sidmouth!

{This cottage is a gem. The owners put a great deal of effort into it – and it shows! Small cottage, beautifully formed – you will not be disappointed and will not want for anything. I would return in a heart beat.

{The house is beautiful and includes everything you could possibly need. A lot of thought and care has clearly gone in to making this property a comfortable holiday home. Could not fault it.

What’s it like for self-catering?

{The kitchen equipment supplied was probably the most comprehensive that we'd experienced. Also, a really good list in advance so we didn't need to bring anything 'just in case'. We especially appreciated the range of herbs and spices.
Ian & Jacqui D from Southampton, October 2022
{It was well stocked with equipment for the stay such as a dishwasher, washing line, items for preparing meals and books to read. We had a lovely basket full of goodies and Jo even supplied us with lactose free milk.
Nicki R from Evesham, August 2022
{Really well equipped cottage. All the handbooks and little notes around the place were great. Great you provide all the essentials like dishwasher tabs, soap etc. Heating is good and effective. Bed was really comfortable. Nice and clean.

{The cottage was absolutely lovely, extremely clean and fresh feeling. It was also well stocked with everything you need for your stay – cleaning products, kindling, logs, etc. In fact this cottage was the best stocked cottage we’ve stayed in! Also, there was a lot of information supplied, very well organised in separate folders. All in all a lovely cottage in a lovely place!

What’s the garden like?

{It was really difficult to find fault with anything. The supply of wood for the log burner was appreciated. Thankyou for a very relaxing stay. We've had a bit of a year and the cottage was just what we needed. Loved exploing the garden and finding the hidden areas to sit with a coffee and a book.
Ian & Jacqui D from Southampton, October 2022
{The garden always looks very well-tended as well as the house being spotlessly clean.
Rachel G from London, 3rd stay, August 2022
{We love your garden! Breakfast on the patio, coffee on the midway bench & wine under the tree – lovely!
Clair F from Reigate, July 2021
{Favourite memory: following the sun up the garden with a good book and a glass of wine!
