Letting rates for self-catering holidays at Chandler’s Cottage for 2018

Our usual weekly changeover day is Friday and short breaks generally start or finish on a Friday (except for Good Friday). Here are our rates for typical holiday lets starting on Fridays:

Longer stays are typically 7, 10, 11 and 14 nights usually arriving or departing on a Friday. We also offer two types of short breaks:

Long weekend break – stay for up to 3 nights (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

Midweek break – stay for up to 4 nights (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night).

We use the cottage regularly ourselves so it’s unlikely that we would be able to accommodate a let longer than 2 weeks.

Find out if your preferred dates are available on our calendar and contact us for rates for other lengths of stays; stays that don’t start or finish on a Friday or if you have particular dates in mind.

There are no additional booking fees for booking directly with us, the cottage owners. We don’t usually ask for a security or damage deposit, although in some special circumstances we may do. If this applies to your booking then the damage deposit is payable 4 weeks before your holiday starts and we’ll refund it in full within 7 days of the end of the holiday (assuming there is no exceptional damage or extra cleaning required).

Photo: the price includes bed linen and towels

The price includes bed linen, towels, a welcome tray and logs in the winter.

The price we quote you includes the usual utilities (gas and electricity) as well as a supply of logs for the wood burner in the winter. Bed linen, bath and hand towels for up to four people are also included, although we do not provide beach towels. Two week long holidays include an optional mid-stay change of bed linen and towels.

A complimentary welcome tray with coffee, tea and biscuits as well as fresh milk in the fridge, helps our incoming guests unwind after their journey.

Guests have free access to the cottage Wi-Fi as well as exclusive use of the off-street parking area immediately in front of the house.

Holiday insurance

In common with most UK private holiday home owners we do not provide cancellation insurance and we recommend that guests arrange their own insurance if they do not already have cover in place.

Real value for money, there is everything you need.
